In 2010, the descendant of a long-forgotten whiskey distiller came to us with nothing but a few scraps of pre-prohibition recipes. There was no business plan, no artwork, and no funding. Simply a desire to bring this company back to life.

Create

We came in on the ground floor, helping to secure initial funding and working together to author a business plan. We developed a fully integrated brand and marketing system that pays homage to heritage but uniquely positions the company in today’s market. We created every consumer-facing aspect of their identity: tone, language, look and feel.

As the gatekeepers for their brand, we have continued to establish J. Rieger & Co as a nationally recognized distillery and a must-see Kansas City staple for visitors. Spanning a decade and continuing to this day, our partnership has led to one of our broadest portfolios including product campaign launches, brand extensions and partnerships, merchandise, content strategy, production and animation assets.
